Our Work

2012 Florida Alternative Fueled Vehicle Roadshow Tour

The success of the Georgia Alternative Fueled Vehicle Roadshow has demonstrated high demand among city and municipal leaders and fleet managers for easy access to information on transportation options that do not involve petroleum. 40% of our carbon emissions come from petroleum-based transportation and coal is twice as expensive as natural gas, so why are we still using these dirty fuels?  Propane and EV are other low/no emission options that make economic sense and have rapid payback periods.
Coming in September, the Tour will again take to the roads and host these informative sessions and vehicle showcases in 8 cities across Florida. Starting September 10th  the Tour runs through Tampa/St Petersburg, Orlando/Daytona and on to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville and Tallahassee.  We will be joined by special guests from the Public Service Commission and the Florida Office of Energy and Department of Agriculture.
